Ms. Patten joined Patten and Patten Inc. as a Research Associate in January 2001, focusing on security analysis and quantitative market research. Ms. Patten earned the CFA designation in August 2004. Currently she serves as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Research Analyst. Ms. Patten has been recognized by the CFA Society of Los Angeles for her work in annual forecasting. Prior to joining the firm, Ms.Patten was a Women's National Team and Olympic Rowing coach. Her boats garnered four gold medals, two silver medals, and two bronze medals in Olympic and World Championship competition. Ms. Patten graduated from St. Paul's School (NH) and earned an AB in History (Magna Cum Laude) from Princeton University in 1990 and her Master Degree in Physiology from Smith College in 2000.
